Mugen Civic Type RR Sedan

Your eyes aren't deceiving you - that's two Rs. One R simply isn't enough to delineate Mugen's new track terror. In addition to the upgraded brakes/tires and the entire carbon front clip, this Civic's K20A mill has been stroked out to nearly 2.2 liters (2157cc to be exact) for a more tractable powerband. This effectively translates to 260hp/173 ft/lbs of torque. Pricing has not been announced just yet, but one can assume it will be the most anyone's ever paid for a Civic.

Unbelievable - $48k for a Honda Civic?

MrMTB over at Evolutionm reports on spotting the new limited (apparently VERY limited) edition Mugen Civic SI at the local Honda dealership. In addition to the exclusive blue paint, Mugen suspension, wheels, badging, and seats, the car comes with a sticker price of $48,000 after dealer "market adjustment".

Sure, it looks and handles the part. Yes the local honda-boy battallion will worship the ground you walk on and inundate you with questions. But would you really want to drop almost fifty large on what is essentially an economy sedan with a slew of bolt-ons? For another $20k you could find yourself in a 2009 Nissan GTR.

Clean RSX

Most ordinary people would be content with an RSX Type S with full JDM Type-R interior and a reworked K20. True to his screen name, ClubRSX member "outdated" decided his Honda was just that. Taking things to the proverbial next level, he had the entire car reworked. The interior is outfitted for track duty with Bride seats and a six point roll cage. The K20's been opened up and now puts down an impressive 250hp to the wheels. The gold dipped valvecover and ITB setup makes sure you know all that power's hiding under the hood.

2JZ Powered S2000

Those wacky Kozeluhs at Twins Turbo are at it again. Their latest mad scientist creation is a widebody S2K destined for the Gumball 3000. The few who have even attempted this swap know its not for the faint of heart. In the pictures you can see the massive hole cut into the firewall to fit the longer 2JZ-GTE supra motor and V-mount intercooler setup into the already longish S2000 engine bay. Holy power-to-weight ratio, Batman!
